Reta Harvell, age 90, widow of Clarence Harvell, formerly of Ellington, passed away on December 31, 2017 at Woodlake at Tolland. Reta was born October 2, 1927 in Dixfield, Maine to her late parents Chester and Margaret Eastman McLeod.
Reta, along with her husband Clarence resided in Ellington before retiring in Spring Hill, Florida. Reta was formerly employed by Hartmann's Supermarket where she later retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be most remembered for her kindness and amazing smile that she showed to everyone.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Lemek and her husband Paul of Rockville, CT, two sons, Allen Harvell and his wife Eileen of Vermont, and Richard Harvell and his wife Anita of Maine. Reta was blessed with 8 wonderful grandchildren: Steven and Paul Lemek, Margaret (Lemek) Royal, Allen Jr., Bryan, Ben, Anne and Jennifer Harvell. She was thrilled to have 14 great grandchildren and had many special nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. Reta is predeceased by her brothers, Leslie, Malcolm and Wardsworth McLeod, and her sisters Elethea Harvell, Clara Hiscock, and Barbara Descy.
