Edward P. Nimerowski, 96, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017. He was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Wasil and Katherine Nimerowski and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Edward faithfully served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a communicant of Saint Mary's Church in East Hartford and worked for 30 years as an Inspector at Pratt and Whitney. His wife Theresa (Girouard) Nimerowski predeceased him. Edward P. Nimerowski, 96, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017. He was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Wasil and Katherine Nimerowski and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Edward faithfully served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a communicant of Saint Mary's Church in East Hartford and worked for 30 years as an Inspector at Pratt and Whitney. His wife Theresa (Girouard) Nimerowski predeceased him. He is survived by his daughter Teresa R. Nimerowski and his son Edward P. Nimerowski, Jr., both of East Hartford, a granddaughter Julie Randall and her husband Patrick of Vernon and a great-grandson Marcus Randall. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11AM at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, CT 06108. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum. Visiting hours at the funeral home, are Monday January 30th, from 3PM-5PM and Tuesday January 31st from 10AM-11AM.
